A relational counselling space for understanding yourself more deeply and creating meaningful change.
In person in English, Lithuanian or Italian.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
Carl Rogers
Perhaps you find yourself responding to situations in familiar ways, even when part of you wishes you could respond differently.
You may be struggling with how you see yourself, finding relationships difficult, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or experiencing shame, guilt or self-criticism. Or perhaps you simply have a sense that you want to understand yourself better and feel more connected to who you are.
You don't need to know exactly what is wrong or have the right words before beginning therapy. We can start with what is happening for you now.
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can slow down and become curious about your experience. Together, we can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships and bodily experience, as well as the patterns and beliefs that may have developed through earlier experiences.
Understanding yourself can be the beginning of change.
Therapy can offer an opportunity to explore not only what you are experiencing, but how you have come to experience yourself and the world in this way.
Over time, this may help you to recognise familiar patterns, understand where they come from, develop greater self-acceptance and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion.
With greater awareness, you may begin to have more choice in how you respond, rather than feeling governed by familiar ways of being.
I work with adults both online and in person. My approach is integrative, drawing primarily on person-centred, Gestalt and psychodynamic approaches, with influences from transactional analysis, existential and transpersonal perspectives.
You don't have to figure everything out before you begin.
If you feel curious about what therapy might offer you, I invite you to get in touch. We can begin by talking about what has brought you to counselling and whether working together feels like the right fit.
